Noram Drills Deepest Hole to Date: Confirming Fault and Mineralizing Structures Interpretation

VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / December 13, 2023 / Noram Lithium Corp. (“Noram”) (TSXV:NRM)(FRA:N7R)(OTCQB:NRVTF) is pleased to announce the completion of the third hole of its 10-hole drilling program on the Zeus property in Clayton Valley, Nevada, USA. The core hole was bottomed at 1008 feet (307.2m), making it the deepest hole thus far drilled on the property. The Phase VII program was designed to drill deeper and test the possibility of a deep high-grade lithium lens below the previously defined Zeus resource which has been postulated from previous drilling and would have a significant impact on the Prefeasibility Study.

The core has been cleaned, logged, photographed and is in the process of being sampled for assay by the crew with the independent consulting group Big Rock Exploration of Duluth, Minnesota, USA. A graphical representation of the hole’s lithology is shown in Figure 1.

Figure 1 - Graphical representation of the CVZ-84 lithology.
Figure 1 – Graphical representation of the CVZ-84 lithology.

CVZ-84 was drilled in an area of the property that has seen thick high-grade lithium intersections in past drilling, but CVZ-84 is interpreted to be on the southeast side of a fault which may have acted as a northeast-trending mineralizing structure. The hole was designed to test this interpretation. Figure 2 shows its areal relationship to other completed and proposed holes in the current program, along with the location of the interpreted fault (in black) and Noram’s placer and lode claim outlines (in blue and red, respectively). After completing CVZ-84, the drill moved onto CVZ-87 and CVZ-88. News releases on these holes will be forthcoming in the near future.

Figure 2 - Current drilling status.
Figure 2 – Current drilling status.

Sampling of the core using an industry standard QA/QC protocol is underway. Samples are to be delivered to ALS Laboratories in Reno, Nevada for assaying. Assay results are pending.

“The completion of this hole at depth was an important step for Noram. It allowed us to confirm and better understand the geology of the area. With each program, we have been able to build a more comprehensive model and validate our interpretations. This is crucial in truly understanding the size and extent of the resource as well as its commercial value” stated Sandy MacDougall, Executive Chairman and Director.

Noram Completes Major Milestone: Infill Drill Program for Pre-Feasiblity Study Completion and Commencement of Plan of Operations

VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / May 12, 2022 / Sandy MacDougall, CEO of Noram Lithium Corp. (“Noram” or the “Company“) (TSXV:NRM)(OTCQB:NRVTF)(Frankfurt:N7R) is pleased to announce” that the Company has successfully completed the Phase VI infill drill program on the Zeus Lithium Project in Clayton Valley, Nevada. The Zeus Project contains a current NI 43-101 measured and indicated resource estimate* of 363 million tonnes grading 923 ppm lithium, and an inferred resource of 827 million tonnes grading 884 ppm lithium utilizing a 400 ppm Li cut-off. In December 2021, a robust PEA** indicated an After-Tax NPV(8) of US$1.3 Billion and IRR of 31% using US$9,500/tonne Lithium Carbonate Equivalent (LCE). Using the LCE long term forecast of US$14,000/tonne, the PEA indicates an NPV (8%) of approximately US$2.6 Billion and an IRR of 52% at US$14,000/tonne LCE.

All 12 of the Phase VI proposed holes were completed to, or beyond, their anticipated depths for a total of 5246 ft (1599 m) of drilling. Most of the holes were drilled with HQ-size core with a diameter of 2.5 inches (63.5 mm). However, 4 of the holes were drilled with PQ-size (3.35 inches, 85 mm diameter) to be used for the ongoing metallurgical test work. The samples from the core have been hand-delivered to ALS Laboratory in Reno, Nevada for processing. QA/QC samples have been inserted into the sample stream to confirm sample results.

Figure 1 – The last batch of Phase VI drilling samples as they were delivered to ALS in Reno, Nevada.

“This is a significant milestone for Noram” stated CEO and Director, Sandy MacDougall “with the completion of this drilling, the inferred resource calculation will be confidently upgraded to the indicated category. This marks one of the final steps required to complete the Prefeasibility Study (“PFS”) in the near term. While we have only received results from 2 of the 12 holes, the results supersede our expectations, and we can confidently say that a PFS superior to the PEA would not be surprising. All assays are being processed on a rush basis and we expect to receive the balance of the results shortly. Noram is on track to complete the PFS in the fall of 2022 while simultaneously working on new and innovative solutions to become a leader in the green technology space.”

The Company has also begun initial preparation for the completion of a Plan of Operations (PoO) with the Tonopah, Nevada field office of the Bureau of Land Management. Results from the Phase VI drilling will be needed to determine whether additional drilling, bulk sampling, etc. will be required to carry the project through the PFS and DFS stages. These elements are essential to determine what goes into the PoO. The DFS is expected to follow closely on the heels of this fall’s PFS.

Noram Receives Results for CVZ-72 with the Longest and Highest-Grade Intercept from all of the Zeus Drilling to Date

VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / May 5, 2022 / Sandy MacDougall, CEO of Noram Lithium Corp. (“Noram” or the “Company“) (TSXV:NRM | OTCQB:NRVTF | Frankfurt:N7R) is pleased to announce the successful completion of CVZ-72 (PH-06) and release of the final assay results. The Company completed core hole CVZ-72 at a depth of 428 feet (130.5 m). Sampling for assay began at 60 ft (18.3 m) and continued to the bottom of the hole, an interval thickness of 368 ft (112.2 m) was intersected, which was the entire assayed portion of the hole. The hole ended in mineralization and the weighted average lithium values present were as follows:

Figure 1. Comparative stratigraphy and assay results for drill holes CVZ-72 as compared to CVZ-53 and CVZ-68, which were drilled as part of the Phases IV and V programs. CVZ-53 and CVZ-68 both had long intercepts of high grade lithium mineralization. The histogram on the sides of the holes are the composited lithium grades in ppm Li. The cross section has a 4X vertical exaggeration.

“CVZ-72 was the second hole completed in Noram’s 12-hole Phase VI drilling program. These assays represent the longest and highest-grade interval of lithium mineralization intersected to date on the Zeus property. This hole also clearly reaffirms the consistently high lithium grades across this blanket-like mineral deposit. If the program continues to produce results such as these, we could reasonably expect our PFS to outshine our PEA. Ending in mineralization at depths such as these suggests even greater potential for the size and extent of this resource” comments Brad Peek, VP of Exploration and geologist on all six phases of Noram’s Clayton Valley exploration drilling.

VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / April 28, 2022 / Sandy MacDougall, CEO of Noram Lithium Corp. (“Noram” or the “Company“) (TSXV:NRM)(OTCQB:NRVTF)(Frankfurt:N7R) is pleased to report that the Company has completed hole CVZ-74 (PH-07) on its Zeus lithium clay deposit in Nevada to a total depth of 558.0ft (170.1 m). Visual inspection of the core confirmed that clays previously shown to be high in lithium grades appeared at approximately 126.0 ft (38.4 m) and extended down to total depth of 478.0 ft (145.7 m) for a total intersection of approximately 352.0 ft (107.3 m). Variously colored mudstones, which may also contain high lithium levels were logged down to the hole’s total depth of 558.0 ft (170.1 m).

“The interval of potentially rich lithium clays in CVZ-74 appears to be one of the thickest we have encountered in all of our Clayton Valley drilling. Only the final assays will determine its true thickness and grade, but it is certainly in line lithologically with other nearby holes and is likely to be positive for the PFS” commented Brad Peek M.Sc. CPG., VP of Exploration and Qualified Person for this and all 5 of the previous drilling phases of Noram’s Zeus lithium property.

“We are very happy with Noram’s progress to date. This phase of drilling will upgrade a substantial amount of the Inferred Resource to the Indicated category. While we move aggressively forward towards the completion of our PFS in 2022, we remain focused on our green mandate by exploring new ingenuitive solutions. Noram will stay aligned with its values and be a leader in this field while bringing immense value to the shareholders as it takes the Zeus Project to the next level”, commented Sandy MacDougall, CEO and Director.

The samples were analyzed by the ALS laboratory in Reno, Nevada. QA/QC samples were included in the sample batch and returned values that were within their expected ranges.

Noram Completes CVZ-72 At 428ft (130.m) With Near Surface Mineralization, Over 323ft (98.4m) Of Visually Ric

VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / April 7, 2022 / Sandy MacDougall, CEO of Noram Lithium Corp. (“Noram” or the “Company“) (TSXV:NRM)(OTCQB:NRVTF)(Frankfurt:N7R) is pleased to report that the Company has completed hole CVZ-72 (PH-06) on its Zeus lithium clay deposit in Nevada to a total depth of 428ft (130.5m). Visual inspection of the core confirmed that clays previously shown to be high in lithium grades appeared near surface and extended down to a depth of 400ft (121.9m) for a total drilled intersection of 323ft (98.4m).

Figure 1 – Two boxes of core from CVZ-72. The box on the left is from depths of 253-261.5ft (77.1-79.7m) and shows some of the black, highly reduced mudstone/claystone. The box on the right is from 288.5-298ft (87.9-90.8m) and is typical of the somewhat less reduced blue mudstone/claystone. From past drilling experience, both lithologic units are usually high in lithium content.

Figure 2 – Location of all past drill holes (Phase I to Phase V) previously completed in addition to the 12 proposed holes for Phase V1 currently underway. Phase VI holes are indicated in purple.

“We are incredibly pleased with the results from CVZ-72 albeit not surprised. Drill hole CVZ-72 was completed at 428ft (130.5m) and had predictably encouraging lithologies. Past programs have shown this to be highly mineralized material. This is exactly what one would like to see with infill drilling. Figure 3 below shows a cross section with CVZ-72 and two adjacent, previously drilled holes. The blue, green, black and magenta layers in the figure indicate claystone layers that have been shown to host the higher lithium assays from past drilling as is shown by the histograms of lithium values on the two adjacent holes. The adjacent CVZ-68 was one of the better high-grade holes with a very thick clay intercept. The drill intercepts thus far continue to be very encouraging” commented Brad Peek M.Sc. CPG., VP of Exploration and Qualified Person for this and all 5 of the previous drilling phases of Noram’s Zeus lithium property.
