Vancouver, British Columbia – (July 13, 2021) – Rover Metals Corp. (TSXV: ROVR) (OTCQB: ROVMF) (FRA:4X0) (“Rover” or the “Company”) Rover has now received its first batch of rush assays for its first diamond drill hole CL-21-10 from its summer campaign. Rover is reporting an average grade of 5.71 g/t Au over 3.4 meters (true width). The Company is still waiting on assays for over 10 meters of hole CL-21-10. The reported grades are 90% higher than historic hole DDH-88-61 that was drilled at a similar location in the Beaver Zone in the 1980s. New hole CL-21-10 is a 400 meter step-out to the previously defined Arrow Zone that reported 32 meters of 13.6 g/t Au in Q4-2020.
Judson Culter, CEO of Rover Metals states, “the Phase 2 Exploration Drill Program was planned to target historic zones on the Cabin Gold property that carried sulfide rich historic results. We’re very pleased that the preliminary results of our program at the historic Beaver Zone are proving that high-sulfides continue to be associated with high-grade gold. The fact that we continue to increase the average gold grades across the property shows the exploration potential of the Cabin Gold Project. Additionally, we’re reporting true width intercepts of 3.4 meters at hole CL-21-10 due to the angle of the sulfide intercepts. It’s still early in the program, and we remain very optimistic on defining an additional zone comparable to the Arrow Zone. The historic Andrew South Zone is also being targeted in this summer’s drill program.”

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, July 15, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Lakewood Exploration (CSE: LWD / OTC: LWDEF) (“Lakewood” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce results from a sampling program at the Company’s newly acquired past-producing Silver Strand Mine located in the storied Coeur d’Alene Mining District of Idaho.
A total of 14 rock chip samples were collected from altered and mineralized surface and underground exposures. Two grab samples were collected to verify high grade silver and gold values from a previous sampling program from which a sample reported 1,669 grams per tonne (g/t) silver (Ag) and 9.77 g/t Gold (Au) (See June 28, 2021 News Release). Assays from the two verification samples PN614015 and PN614014 returned 2,744.91 g/t Ag & 4.80 g/t Au and 238.29 g/t Silver & 3.60 g/t Gold, respectively.
Lakewood President, Morgan Lekstrom stated: “These high-grade underground sampling results suggest to us that the potential for substantial high-grade mineralization is present at Silver Strand. Obtaining gold and silver values from reconnaissance surface sampling 1 km to the southeast of Silver Strand is also highly encouraging and demonstrates the potential to outline a significantly more extensive vein system within our expanded property package.”
Twelve surface rock chip samples were collected along road cuts and logging trails immediately to the southeast of the Silver Strand property prompting additional claim staking. The surface samples consist of quartz-FeOx veins and veinlet zones, consistent with known mineralization at Silver Strand, and indicate that these mineralized zones continue for approximately 1 km to the southeast. Sample results range from 1.71 g/t Ag to 8.23 g/t Ag with anomalous gold up to 0.21 g/t Au. These new surface results along trend provide the Company with new key data that will support efforts to vector towards higher-grade Au-Ag mineralization along strike, in addition to the potential depth extensions below the shallow historical mining at Silver Strand.
The samples were analyzed by Chris Christopherson of CCI laboratory, in Smelterville, Idaho. Samples were analyzed by fire assay methods with a gravimetric finish for gold and silver.

About Lakewood Exploration
Lakewood Exploration is a junior resource company that controls the Lacy Gold Project in British Columbia, Canada, and the past-producing Silver Strand Mine in the Coeur d’Alene Mining District in Idaho, USA. The Company is rapidly advancing towards an initial drill program at Silver Strand with the aim of defining a large silver resource within a belt that has produced more than 1.2 billion ounces of silver to-date. Geologic studies indicate that the Silver Strand Mine is hosted by the Revett formation, suggesting the potential for significant down dip extensions as demonstrated by other major mines in the district. Previous operators were solely interested in developing the known shallow mineralization, with the mine’s lowest level extending only 90 metres below surface. Lakewood strives to become a multi-mine silver producer.
*Mineralization hosted on adjacent and/or nearby properties is not necessarily indicative of mineralization hosted on the Company’s property.

Vancouver, British Columbia–(Newsfile Corp. – July 15, 2021) – Riverside Resources Inc. (TSXV: RRI) (OTCQB: RVSDF) (FSE: 5YY) (“Riverside” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that an additional US$5,400,000 in exploration funding is being granted to advance four (4) previously generated copper projects as part of the expanding copper exploration program with BHP in Sonora, Mexico (see Figure 1 below). This new funding of at least US$5,400,000 is in addition to the US$1,300,000 allocated for the next generative phase of exploration work, which began two months ago on May 15th, 2021. Program funding highlights for the new project-focused funding are summarized below:
Drilling funding has been allocated for the Chuin Project, including an initial 4,500 metres (“m”) of drilling to test three geophysical centres within the Chinalito Target area.
Drilling funding budgeted for the Palofierro Project, including 4,500 m stratigraphic core drilling to cut bedrock beneath post-mineral cover and test for Laramide aged porphyry potential.
Geophysics funding designated for a close spaced MT (Magneto-telluric) Survey at Sinoquipe, designed to uncover conductive bodies (i.e., potential porphyry copper deposits) underneath post-mineral conglomerate cover.
Geophysics funding budgeted for a broadly spaced MT Survey and geophysical targeting at Peñitas which will lead toward drill targeting.
The permitting process for drilling at Chuin and Palofierro is already underway. The MT Survey’s at Sinoquipe and Peñitas are expected to commence after contractors are secured and the results from the deep geophysics work has the potential to lead to further drilling programs based on results.
Riverside’s President & CEO, John-Mark Staude : “We are pleased to work closely with BHP’s geoscientists and their exploration group as the porphyry copper targets we have identified continue to progress towards drilling. These projects and corresponding exploration campaigns expose our shareholders to incredible upside and catalysts that have the potential to create significant value for the Company. Riverside and BHP recently completed a weeklong technical field trip, which culminated with the approval by BHP of this additional US$5.4Million in exploration funding. In total, the additional budget allocation brings Riverside’s 2021 funding for copper exploration to over US$6.7M. We see excellent potential for continued growth in the well-endowed and under-explored southern extension of the Arizona-Sonora world class porphyry copper belt.“
These four projects include the previously highlighted: Chuin, Palofierro, Sinoquipe, and Peñitas properties (see press release dated June 21, 2021). The projects have now been approved for full funding to move toward drilling on the Chuin and Palofierro projects and deep geophysics on the Sinoquipe and Peñitas projects which would lead toward additional drill decisions in the near future and will be ongoing for a third consecutive year (see press release dated May 27, 2021). Sinoquipe and Peñitas will be progressed with geophysical studies similar to those done at Chuin and Palofierro where BHP and Riverside are preparing targets for upcoming drill programs.
Figure 1: BHP Riverside Exploration area for copper and portfolio of projects owned by Riverside and BHP/Riverside Program
Chuin Project: Funding of 4,500 m of core drilling to test the main Magneto-telluric (MT) anomalies discovered through last year’s funding. This first phase of drilling is focused on 3 geophysical centers identified at the Chinalito Target, which if successful could trigger an expanded drilling program as a Defined Project (“DP”) as outlined in the reference terms of the Exploration Funding Agreement (“EFA”). Environmental permitting for drilling is being progressed. Chinalito remains the priority copper target for Riverside.
Palofierro Project: Funding of 4,500 m of stratigraphic core drilling to probe bedrock beneath the post-mineral units and evaluate the basement geology for Laramide style porphyry Cu potential to the east of the Opodepe Mo-Cu porphyry district and west of exposed high sulfidation and upper-level porphyry copper geology where the Riverside-BHP target area is covered by post-Laramide gravel. This target area is defined by combining gravity survey results with geological mapping of the margins of the Rayon, Sonora Tertiary pediment, with the Company having found positive indicators for potential porphyry system at the margins of the basin and exploration data vectoring toward underneath the post-mineral cover. Environmental permitting for drilling is in progress.
Sinoquipe Project: Funding of an extensive and close-spaced MT survey which includes over 250 stations and is expected to start in late July 2021 pending weather and contractor availability. The interpreted target at Sinoquipe is a porphyry copper system projected under varying thickness of post-mineral conglomerate and possibly some Tertiary volcanics, where both margins of the basin show compiled geological evidence that indicates large potential for porphyry copper underneath the gravels. The purpose of this survey is to find conductive bodies that will potentially turn into drill targets in the coming months. This work builds on the 2021 field programs of sampling, mapping and targeting that remain on-going.
Peñitas: Funding of an open-spaced MT survey that comprises 150 stations to cover multiple target areas already identified with geological mapping and geochemical sampling. Similar to Sinoquipe, Peñitas has multiple targets that are projected under post-mineral cover and the aim of the survey is to detect large conductive bodies that would eventually generate geophysical drill targets.

We seem to be in the midst of a minor correction in gold stocks. Gold goes down a little and the gold stocks go down a lot more. It must make sense to someone but not to me. In any case, we are due our typical summer low soon as I talked about in an interview recently.
We are moving into the strongest period of the year for the general stock market in the next few weeks. I expect the S&P and NAZ to shoot higher on the DSI, now 84 and 85 into the peak followed by a decline into September/October and a major crash. By almost every measure, the overall stock market is at peak stupidity. Once it starts going downhill, nothing will stop it. A lot of paper resources are about to disappear permanently.
Eloro Resources (ELO-V) put out a brilliant press release last week that clearly no one understood. The stock dropped by 10% over the next few days and is down about 30% from its all time high in February.
That’s nuts. Eloro is quoting the intercepts in silver equivalent basis that creates part of the confusion. It’s actually a silver/zinc rich tin system. Drilling to date in 43 holes has all taken place over a 2km by 1.2km area but the system is obviously far larger. The Covid issue in Peru has led to 2,600 samples sitting gathering dust waiting to be tested in Lima. Eloro is told things are improving but instead of having three drill rigs turning, the company should have fifteen, it is that big.
Hole DSB-08 showed a massive 252.89 meters of 69.89 silver eq. I’m going to convert it to gold because people are a lot more comfortable thinking gold in grams than silver in grams. I’m going to show you two different ways of determining just how good a drill hole is compared to others.
I think most of my readers are familiar by now with the concept of gram/meters. Multiply grams in gold times intercept length in meters to get a number. For hole DSB-08 I’m going to use 1 g/t Au since that is almost exactly the ratio to silver right now. So hole DSB-08 would be an easy 253 gram/meters and anything over 100 g/m is a giant home run.
I use another way of measuring really deep holes because it shows investors just how important long intercepts are. I’m going to cube the hole that is 253 to the 3rd power. Then give it a SG of about 2.7, in grams we will use a factor of 1 for the assay in grams of gold and divide by 31.1 to get ounces and times the price of gold.
If instead of a simple drill hole of 252.89 meters we had a cube of 252.89 meters with the same grade, that single hole would have a value of $2,541,928,701 in USD. Of course we do not have a cube but it will show in relative terms just how valuable long intercepts are to a resource.
Now lets use hole DSB-10 with an incredible 29 different mineralization intercepts over the 1019 metres of the full hole. The best intercept was 56.12 meters of 114.96 grams silver eq. I’m going to use a figure of 1.64 g/t gold to reflect the intercept in gold rather than silver. That would give a gram/meter reading of just over 92 in gold terms. Not quite as barn burning as hole DSB-08 but considering it was one of 29 different intercepts of mineralization, hole 10 is a giant home run.
So again we cube 56.12, multiply by 1.64 since we have converted silver grams to gold grams, then 2.7 for SG, divide by 31.1 to get ounces and multiply by $1808 for the current POG. That makes the 56-meter hole in theory worth $27.7 million in USD if it were a cube.
On this intercept we are going to use the 74.39 meters cubed with a gold conversion from silver grams of 1.14 g/t Au, same SG of 2.7, divide by 31.1 and times POG of $1808. In gram meters, it is about 85 compared to 92 for the previous hole.
Here is where it gets really interesting and valuable to an investor. While the intercept is only about 18 meters longer, the grade is lower by about 35% but working out the theoretical cubic value of $64.6 million in USD. Investors tend to think that grade is key but in fact to a mining engineer, the length of an intercept is much more important. Two intercepts with similar gram meter measurements show one is more than twice as valuable as the other because of the length of the intercept.
With really giant mines, mining and milling costs drop a lot with tonnage. Tonnage is far more important than grade. $68 rock may not seem like much but at the end of the day when they start putting numbers on the back side of an envelope I suspect mining and milling will be in the $20-$25 range in USD. There will be a lot of economies of scale here. This is going to be a great mine.
I think Eloro should have said something about the total length of the 29 intercepts in the 1019-meter hole. It would be interesting to know if 30% of the hole was mineralized or 70%.
By using the two methods I have suggested, I think investors can come up with a reasonable idea of the value of drill intercepts. To a certain extent the company may have overplayed the hole 10 and created a buy the rumor, sell the news situation. However I happen to be the most bullish on this company’s potential. Every hole they have drilled has hit mineralization. Every single hole. And there are some real world class intercepts.
While Eloro has rocketed higher in the past year, I think the future is even brighter. I’ve pounded the table again and again with management. With a project of this size they need a lot more drilling going on. But when a company does exploration, they have to have the data from prior holes before knowing how to position their rigs. The 2,600 overdue assays are the only thing holding the stock price and exploration back. And someday the labs will catch up.
I happen to believe the company will end up with 1-2 billion tonnes of $100+ rock. Being far more professional, the company will never say that even if they do think it. By the end of the year when they come out with an initial 43-101 resource, the majors will be lined up with checks in their hands wanting to partner with Eloro.
The single most important purpose of any drill program is to fill or kill. Is this a mine or should we kill it? Eloro is way past that point. I think this is going to end up in the top five projects worldwide discovered in the last ten years. It is a giant project to anyone who can both see and think at the same time. That may be its saving grace. Certainly resource nationalism is a problem in Peru, Chile, Ecuador and even the Dominican Republic. But this is going to be so big and make such an important contribution to the government of Bolivia that I think they will keep their hands off.
Eloro has no problems other than 2600 assays gathering dust in Lima. They are well cashed up with $25 million in the bank. Run by a great team of the strongest geologists in South America on this sort of system and they continue to deliver excellent results under trying circumstances.
Eloro is an advertiser. I have a big position I have taken part in prior placements and bought a lot of shares in the open market. The success will continue. Someday investors will realize they have a tiger by the tail. Do your own due diligence.
Michael Rowley, President and CEO, commented: “We are very pleased to report such strong interest in our 100%-owned Stillwater West project in Montana USA. The additional funding will accelerate and expand our 2021 field program which prioritizes drilling in the most advanced target areas where results are expected to provide the basis for a future update to the inaugural mineral resource estimate which is anticipated mid-2021. We are fully permitted for our planned multi-rig drill program and expanded geophysical survey and look forward to providing additional updates in the near term.”
“We are excited to announce these first near surface high-grade gold assays from our drilling at Big Vein, with assays for additional holes containing visible gold to come,” said Roger Moss, President and CEO of the Company. “Now that we have found the high-grade, we will focus on tracing it down plunge and search for the dilation zones where larger blowouts can be expected. With two drill rigs continuing to test Big Vein along strike we expect to rapidly follow up on these very encouraging results.”
