Lion One CEO Walter Berukoff commented “We believe that Tuvatu is part of a massive gold system inside the Navilawa Caldera. Results from our recent CSAMT survey reinforce that view. We’re excited about our upcoming aggressive drilling campaign, in our efforts to find similarities with the world class Vatukoula deposit located approximately 40 km northeast of Tuvatu.”

All evidence points to a large high-grade alkaline gold system of which Tuvatu forms a small part”, commented Dr. Quinton Hennigh, technical advisor to Lion One. “With more drilling we hope to gain a better understanding of the underlying plumbing system that allowed gold-rich fluids to ascend from the underlying magma chamber and ultimately discover the root feeder or feeders that gave rise to this lode complex. Alkaline gold deposits are known to extend to great depths, so we have plenty of room to explore. And thanks to our recent encouraging BLEG results, we now know we have an extensive anomalous area within the northern part of the Navilawa caldera to explore for extensions of this robust gold system”.

Irving Resources Resumes Drilling at Omui and Updates Drilling at Omu Sinter

“We are pleased to begin drilling at Omui once again,” commented Dr. Quinton Hennigh, director and technical advisor to Irving. “Our first 2020 hole commenced last week and follows up on veins encountered in hole 19OMI-010 drilled last season. We have a robust drill program planned over the next several months designed to more fully evaluate this exciting new vein system. Recent holes completed at Omu Sinter have given us more insight into that target. A mineralized intercept in this year’s first hole, 20OMS-001, confirms the high-grade vein encountered in hole 19OMS-002 is trending north-south and is near vertical. Nearly 200 m below, hole 20OMS-004 encountered several epithermal veins. We are eager to see assays from that hole. Hole 20OMS-002 encountered strongly anomalous precious metal mineralization in a surface sinter horizon, and we can see clear evidence of a feeder below. We look forward to returning to Omu Sinter later this year to test that target.”

“Our goal continues to be a world-class zinc discovery,” stated Bart Jaworski, CEO. “The Limerick basin has all the hallmarks of the next Navan1-scale zinc system in Ireland. We’ve narrowed our first immediate target area to a two-by-five-kilometre swath of prime ground in the Kilteely area, representing the geological mirror image of the Pallas Green system on the opposite side of the volcanic complex. By surrendering non-core licenses, we’ll be better able to focus on our 1,200-square kilometre ground position in the Limerick basin, with a view to conducting larger, more sustained drilling campaigns in the future.”
