Millrock President & CEO commented: “We are pleased to secure these mineral lands near Fairbanks. There is known gold mineralization on both claim blocks and the geology is similar to that present at the nearby Fort Knox gold mine operated by Kinross. The abundance of placer gold mined at surface underscores the potential we see to discover a large intrusion-related gold deposit of similar scale to Fort Knox. High-grade vein deposits are also a possibility. A recent drill intersection by Freegold Ventures Limited at the nearby Golden Summit project has reinvigorated interest in this great gold mining camp. We will advance the two new projects with some surface exploration in the near term and look to bring in a partner as drill targets are firmed up.”

David Cates, Denison’s President & CEO, commented, “Our team is excited to be back at Phoenix to build on the great success of our 2019 ISR Field Program – which culminated in the development of a hydrogeologic model and simulation of an ISR wellfield for Phoenix, by an independent technical specialist firm, which ultimately demonstrated ‘proof of concept’ for the use of ISR mining at Phoenix.  Over the last several months we have developed extensive health and safety protocols and procedures, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, to ensure that a return to work at the Wheeler River site can be achieved safely for our staff and contractors, as well as the northern communities that we travel through to access the site.  With the continuation of ISR field testing at Phoenix in 2020 we hope to minimize the impact of COVID-19 related disruptions to the overall project development schedule and environmental assessment process.”

NV Gold Completes Property-Wide Geophysics Survey and Technical Team Arrives at the High-Grade Exodus Gold Project

“We are pleased to have completed the property-wide geophysics ahead of the arrival of the exploration team, led by our new project manager Max Keogh, P. Geo. The information to be provided by the High-Res Mag and radiometrics survey will greatly assist our technical team to be highly effective in our aggressive exploration program aimed to further understand and identify additional key features and sub-surface structures for first priority drill targets,” commented Peter A. Ball, President & CEO. “The large mineralized central core of the project, where grades have previously returned samples up to 23.2 g/t Au, will be prioritized to further assess the current high-grade targets for additional sampling, trenching, and structural review for a planned fall drill program. Raw data obtained over the weekend from the geophysical survey has identified new areas of interest throughout the project. Reconnaissance explorations teams will be immediately directed to review these new zones and structures. The data from the geophysical program is currently being fully processed, and the final interpretation is to be completed by the end of the week. This will further assist in identifying other additional areas of interest across the large 11,000+ hectare land package.”
